Domodedovo Airport is one of the largest and most modern international airports in Russia and Eastern Europe, located 45 kilometers southeast of the center of Moscow. It is the second largest airport in the country by passenger traffic and is one of the twenty busiest airports in Europe.

Domodedovo is equipped with two independent parallel runways located at a distance of two kilometers from each other, which allows simultaneous takeoffs and landings – a unique feature among the capital’s airports. Both lanes are certified according to the ICAO CAT IIIA category, and after the reconstruction Domodedovo became the first Russian airport capable of receiving the largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380.

The passenger terminal covers an area of about 500,000 square meters and has been certified according to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2000. The airport has an island check-in system, which facilitates the movement and transfer of passengers. Domodedovo operates flights from approximately 80 airlines to more than 240 destinations worldwide.
