Electronic permits to enter Israel for tourists will become mandatory from January 01, 2025. ❗️❗️❗️

The electronic entry permit system is valid for citizens of countries with a visa-free regime, including the Russian Federation.

An electronic permit for tourists from countries with a visa-free regime to enter Israel will be required from January 01, 2025. Passengers planning a flight to Israel will need to obtain permission to enter the country in advance – ETA, Electronic Travel Authority. Passengers will be able to apply for an ETA online.

Starting from July 1, 2024, the electronic entry permit system for Israel became available for citizens of Russia and other countries to apply. The system will operate in the test period until December 31, 2024.

Obtaining an electronic permit is mandatory for tourists of all ages, including minors.
